ASHRAE

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air - Conditioning Engineers ( ASHRAE ) is a professional association in all heating, cooling, ventilation and air-conditioning systems employed in the United States. Seat of the Association is Atlanta.

It was founded in 1894 as the American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers ( ASHVE ), 1954 they changed the name to American Society of Heating and Air - Conditioning Engineers ( ASHAE ). Got its name the organization in 1959 through the merger with the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers ( ASRE ).

The ASHRAE Handbook is a reference book consisting of four volumes of air conditioning. Every year, a band is reissued. ASHRAE also publishes standards and guidelines in the field of air conditioning, the building regulations in reference.

Monthly magazine ASHRAE Journal is published.
