Ashur-bel-nisheshu

Ashur -bel- nišešu ( Ashur -bel- nišēšu, Aschschur -bel- African scatterbrained, Assur -bel- nisesu ), son of Ashur nārāri II was a mittelassyrischer king, who reigned nine years after the Assyrian King List.

He bore the title of Viceroy of Ashur ( išši'ak Ashur ). He renewed and strengthened the walled city of Ashur. After the synchronistic history, he graduated with Kara- Indas Karduniaš of a contract for the boundary between Assyria and Babylonia and confirmed it with an oath.
