Ashwini Ponnappa

Ashwini Ponnappa Machimanda ( born September 18, 1989 in Bangalore ) is an Indian Badminton player.

Career

Ashwini Ponnappa won in 2006 their first title in the individual Junior Championships in India in women's doubles with Nitya Sosale. In 2010 she was second in the South Asia Games in women's doubles with PC Thulasi. At the same event, she decided the Mixed rating together with Valiyaveetil Diju for themselves. In 2010 she won at the Commonwealth Games silver with the team and gold in women's doubles.
