Asi Levi

Assi Levy (Hebrew אסי לוי; born September 28, 1969 in Haifa, Israel) is an Israeli actress.

Life

Assi Levy studied in her hometown at the prestigious Yoram Levinstein Acting School of Acting. Then she played theater and debuted in the 1995 published and staged by Dina Zvi Riklis - Drama Shiv'a on the side of Yael Hadar and Israel Damidov on the canvas. For her portrayal of Nelly in Jonathan Sagalls Drama Kesher Ir she was awarded for the first time with the Israeli Film Award Ophir Award for Best Supporting Actress. A second award for Best Actress was followed in 2006 for her portrayal of Aviva Cohen in Shemi Zarhins Drama Aviva Ahuvati. International Levy was for her starring role in Raphaël Nadjaris Drama The cast the first stone known. For the representation of Michale she was nominated for the award of the European Film Awards in 2004 for Best Actress.

From 2000 to 2006 Levy was married to Yaniv Kaufman, with whom she has two children together. Currently, she is in a relationship with Israeli dancers Tamar Shelef.
