Asiatech

AsiaTech was the name of the engine used in Formula 1 in the years 2001 and 2002. The term " AsiaTech " stemmed from the Japanese company in Asia Motor Technologies (AMT ), which as an engine supplier in Formula 1 in 2000 bought up its engine quota after the withdrawal of the French car manufacturer Peugeot and further developed in-house.
