Asim Ferhatović

Asim Ferhatović "Rabbit" ( born January 24, 1933, Sarajevo, † January 25, 1987 ) was a Yugoslav football player.

Career

Association

In 1948, he joined the youth wing of FK Sarajevo. At age 17, he made ​​the jump to the A- team .. In the season 1963/64, he was charged with 19 goals scorer of the Yugoslav League and in the season 1966/67, the Yugoslav champion with FK Sarajevo. For the FK Sarajevo, he completed 602 games and scored 478 goals. His whole career long he wore the number "9".

Ferhatović was repeatedly voted the best player of Bosnia and Yugoslavia.

Asim Ferhatović was known for his dribbling skills and his instinct for scoring chances. Because of his kind and friendly nature was called the "Gentleman football shoes ".

In 1968, he finished his career. He was then for a time worked as a consultant at FK Sarajevo.

National
