Asine

Asine (Greek Ἀσίνη ) was an ancient settlement in Greece. She lay on the Cape Kastraki the modern resort of Tolo in the Argolid ( Peloponnese ). The place has been settled by Frühhelladikum to. Even for the earliest time can be contacts with the Cyclades, Melos and Crete prove. Also the place in the catalog of ships in 2 of the Iliad is mentioned.
