Ã…sne Seierstad

Asne Seierstad ( born February 10, 1970 in Oslo, alternative spelling Aasne Seierstad ) is a Norwegian writer and journalist.

Life

Asne Seierstad was born in Oslo and grew up in Lillehammer with a brother and a sister. She studied in Oslo Russian, Spanish and History of Ideas. From 1998 to 2003 she worked for the Norwegian TV channel NRK as a war reporter in various conflict regions, including in Serbia, Afghanistan and Iraq.
