Aspasius

Aspasius (Greek ' Ασπάσιος Aspasius Latinized, Aspasius ) was a Greek philosopher migrant who lived AD in the first half of the 2nd century.

He wrote commentaries on various works of Aristotle and Libellus de naturalibus Passionibus, of which only a part of Aspasius ' commentary on the Nicomachean Ethics is handed down. His work represents the earliest known commentary on the works of Aristotle

He was the teacher of Herminos.
