ASSITEJ
The Association Internationale du Théâtre de l' Enfance et la Jeunesse ( ASSITEJ ) (French ) is the " International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People".
The association consists of 85 national centers on all continents.
ASSITEJ Germany
In 1989 was founded on the initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Youth ASSITEJ from the Children and Young People's Theatre Centre in the Federal Republic of Germany, based in Frankfurt / Main.
Children's and Youth Theatre Centre
The children 's and youth theater center organizes annually a broad program that takes into account also dance and musical theater. Theater festivals such as the German children 's and youth theater meetings, symposia, workshops and workshop events are offered throughout the year at various locations in Germany.
The center cooperates with the Goethe -Institut.
German Children's Theatre Price / German Youth Theatre Prize
Since the existence of children 's and youth theater center, which was founded in 1989 by the Federal Ministry donated for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth prices " German Children's Theatre Prize" and " German Youth Theatre Prize " will be awarded.
Every year in summer, the nominations are announced. The ceremony will take place at a ceremony as part of the Frankfurt Authors center.
