Associação Atlética Internacional (Limeira)

The Associação Atlética Internacional, also known as Inter de Limeira, is a football club from Limeira, a 150 km north- west of São Paulo in the interior of the same Brazilian state of town with around a quarter of a million inhabitants.

In 1986 the club won under coach Pepe - as a player one of the great stars of Santos FC of Pelé era - the first team from outside the metropolitan areas of São Paulo and Santos the state championship.

In the finals of the competition Inter beat it the capital club Palmeiras. It was also Inter João Neto Leithardt, nom " Kita " with considerable 24 -goal top scorer of the competition.

Foundation
