Association of European Airlines
The AEA - Association of European Airlines ( German: Association of European Airlines ) is an organization based in Brussels.
History
The chairman of the airlines Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Sabena and Swissair founded in 1953 as the Association of Air Research Bureau. Shortly afterwards, the British European Airways ( predecessor company of British Airways) and SAS Scandinavian Airlines. The association changed its name in 1973 in the Association of European Airlines.
Purpose
Goal and mission is to provide and interpretation of data and analysis for the development of European air traffic. In addition, the cooperation in the area of flight operations.
