Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists of the World

The Association of Mouth and Foot Artists painting people ( VDMFK ) is an international commercial organization today about 820 physically disabled artists based in Schaan, Liechtenstein.

History

The AMFPA was founded in 1957 in the Principality of Liechtenstein from the mouth painter Arnulf Erich Stegmann who was also the first president of the organization. 1957 were organized in the AMFPA 17 mouth and foot painting artists. After the death of Stegmann's in 1984 Marlyse Tovae was also a founding member, President of the Association. After her death in 2001 was on October 23, 2002 Eros Bonamini (* 1942 in Verona) elected as President of the organization. In November 2012 Eros Bonamini died. Mr. Serge Maudet has been elected by the General Assembly of the mouth and foot painting artists in July 2013 in Vienna, the new and the fourth President of the AMFPA.

Since early 2007, the AMFPA shows on their official website videos about the life and history of the members. This video collection is expanding monthly. Among other films about the former and current presidents are seen.

The union in Germany

2011 There are in Germany 5 VDMFK full members ( Antje Kratz, Thomas Kahlau, Günther Holzapfel, Reinhard Melzer and Lars Höllerer ). The products sold in Germany are published by the club's own MFK mouth and Fußmalende Artists Publishing GmbH. Its managing director is Florian Stegmann, the grandson of the founding father of AMFPA, Arnulf Erich Stegmann. Much of the art cards sold in Germany is sold via unsolicited mailings.

Financing

The AMFPA is classified by the German Central Institute for Social Issues as a commercial enterprise and not as charity. The organization is funded by proceeds from the sale of greeting cards, calendars, puzzles and books of foot and mouth painters that are offered especially in the period before Christmas and Easter for purchase. The amount of revenue is AMFPA no information.

The percentage use of the revenues estimated AMFPA in 2008 by the MFK -Verlag published booklet " The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists " for the fiscal year 2006/ 2007 was as follows: 73.34 % for members and fellows and allocations to reserves and provisions for members holders, 22.26 % for exhibition, advertising, construction and publishing costs and 4.40% for administrative costs.

The annual revenue of AMFPA are estimated to be a three-digit million amount. Only a fraction of the revenue, in Germany about 250.000 EUR / year (as of 2004), goes to the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists. Million revenue flow to the accounts of the finance company Allfina, which is a subsidiary of AMFPA according to the official version for years.

Criticism

The finance company Allfina, which has its seat in Liechtenstein and Panama, offers loans to the severely disabled artists. Finanztreuhaender Herbert Batliner worked until 2013 as a " legal consultant " for the AMFPA. His efforts could be Batliner 1993 ( for other years are no data available ) pay 275,000 Swiss francs.
