Associations of the faithful

The New Ecclesial Movements are more broadly Christian renewal movements that have arisen in the 20th century in several Christian denominations. These include the Christian branch of the youth movement (eg, the YMCA ), the liturgical movement, the biblical and the ecumenical movement (see ecumenism ).

For the Catholic sector in particular in the wake of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) several movements, so-called Movimenti called, who have received ecclesial recognition as clergy community.
