Assol

Assol (Russian Ассоль, born July 4, 1994 Kabul, Afghanistan) is a Ukrainian singer and actress.

The singer whose real name is Katerina Igorivna Gumenyuk (Ukrainian Катерина Ігорівна Гуменюк ) and grew up in Donetsk. Her father Igor Gumenyuk was an advisor to former Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych.

Life

With 3 years, she joined the Donetsk children's ensemble Kraplynky at ( Краплинки, German droplets). At the age of 6 she took her first music video entitled Alye Parusa ( Алые паруса, German Scarlet Sails ) on. The song deals with the substance of the novel by Alexander Grin. From this story, she was so impressed that she chose the name of the main character, the girl Assol as a stage name.

In 2000 their first CD Alye Parusa that ( мама Моя, My Mama ), among others, also the song Moja Mama appeared contained, which reached number 2 in the Russian charts. This makes it the youngest singer who ever released a CD album.

She participated in various national and international competitions and won several prizes. So it reached 2000, the first place in the children compared with the Slavjanski bazar u vitebsku ( weißruss. Славянскі Базар у Віцебску, Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk ) and received the 2005 Golden street organ.

In 2004, she played the 10 - year-old niece of Empress Anna Ivanovna Anna Leopoldovna in the film Vivat Anna Ioannovna! ( Виват, Анна Иоанновна ).

Since 2010 she has been studying in Kiev Jura.
