The Astana Arena ( Kazakh Астана Арена ) is a multifunctional arena in the Kazakh capital Astana.

The stadium was built in 2009 and can hold 30,000 spectators. The roof of the stadium is located mostly in the closed state and can be opened when needed. The home games of the Kazakh national football team and the football club locomotive Astana will primarily be hosted there. The playoffs the Kazakhstan football Cup will be played in the stadium on a regular basis since 2009.

It was opened on 3 July 2009 by the game of locomotive Astana Kazakhstan against the U - 21 national football team. At the opening match many famous guests were invited. The impetus was performed by Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The game was directed by Italian referee Pierluigi Collina. As a guest player Kakha Kaladse, Andriy Shevchenko, Şaş Hasan and Hakan Şükür stood on the court.

On 14 October 2009 the first game of the Kazakh national football team was against the Croatian national football team instead of (1:2). On 15 November 2009, the final of the Kazakh Cup was played in the arena, it won the FK Atyrau Karaganda against Shakhtar 1-0.

In the Astana Arena, the opening ceremony of the Winter Asian Games took place in 2011.
