ASV Spratzern (women)

The FSK St. Pölten is a women's football club from St. Pölten in Lower Austria. The first team plays in the OFB - Women's League.

History

The club dates back to the founded in 1920 ASV spatters. This founded in 2006, a women's team, the champions of the League West area was at first. In the following season 2008/ 09 the ASV won the championship in the Lower Austrian league and made ​​it into the second-class 2 Ost. With only one defeat this season spatters were also champions, but failed in the relegation at Union Kleinmuenchen. Finally, in 2011, reached the summit in the OFB - Women's League, after the ASV was able to prevail in the relegation against SC / ESV Parndorf.

As a climber in the highest Austrian league team immediately became vice champion behind the SV Neulengbach. In the 2012/13 season, it was enough just to re vice-championship. The season was finished level on points with the SV Neulengbach, but the ASV had the worse goal difference. In the cup competition, spatters retaliated with a 7-6 victory on penalties to Neulengbach.

For the 2013/14 season, the women's football department was spun off as FSK St. Pölten and for the first time to participate in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
