Atef Ebeid

Muhammad Atif Abaid (Arabic عاطف محمد عبيد ʿ Atif Muḥammad ʿ Ubayyid, Egyptian Arabic ʿ Atif Muḥammad ʿ Abaid; born April 14, 1932 in Tanta ) or Atef Ebeid was Egypt's Minister President of 5 October 1999 to 9 July 2004.

Abaid was first minister of the state-owned enterprises and privatization under Kamal al - Ganzuri and solved this in 1999 as Prime Minister from. As prime minister, he headed the Cabinet Abaid. His successor in office was Ahmad Nazif.

After the revolution in Egypt, he was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of ten years on March 1, 2012 due to waste of public funds.
