Athanasios Skaltsogiannis

Athanasios Skaltsogiannis (Greek Αθανάσιος Σκαλτσογιάννης, * 1878 in Etoliko ) was a Greek athlete who participated in the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens. He was third or fourth in the preliminary round 2 in the 110- meter hurdles. He also took part in the long jump competition, where he did not come in the top four. His exact results are not known here.

He was a freedom fighter of the Epirus region. Later he worked as a prison guard. He was killed by an inmate in the prison of Mendrese.
