Athanassios Prittas

Athanassios " Sakis " Prittas (Greek Αθανάσιος Πρίττας, born January 9, 1979 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek football player.

Career

Prittas played in his youth up to the age of 20 years in Nea Mihaniona in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki for the club Poseidonas before he moved to the northern Greek Xanthi. There he played from the start regularly in Super League and he remained faithful to the club for six years.

2005 changed the midfielder in his birth city of Thessaloniki and joined Iraklis Saloniki and eventually went two years later to city rivals Aris Salonika.

Only in 2010, at age 31, Athanassios Prittas was first nominated for the Greek national football team. In early June 2010, he was nominated for the levy of the Greeks for the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, without having had an insert in the national jersey once.
