Athirson Mazolli e Oliveira

, Named Athirson Mazzoli de Oliveira Athirson ( born January 16, 1977 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian footballer. Since January 2010 he is at Portuguesa under contract.

Career

Athirson played between 1998 and 2005 for Flamengo Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Juventus and Cruzeiro. In 1999 he participated with the Brazilian national team at the Confederations Cup in Mexico and played a match against New Zealand. For the 2005/06 season Athirson moved to the German club Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.

After the 2006 /07 Athirsons contract with Bayer was dissolved. He made 30 league games in two goals. In August 2007 he signed a contract with the Brazilian club Botafogo FR.
