ATI Multi-Rendering

ATI Multi Rendering (AMR ) is a multi-GPU technology from ATI Technologies (now AMD) to operate more than one graphics card and combine their rendering performance. AMR was first used in 2002.

ATI relies only on AMR SuperTiling and the technique has mainly been used by Evans & Sutherland for commercial flight simulators.

In 2005, then a revised version of AMR was offered as an ATI Crossfire for the mass market.
