Atimonan, Quezon

Atimonan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 61 587 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 42 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines.

Padre Burgos is located in the south of the bay of Lamon, at the coast are extensive mangrove forests. Your neighboring municipalities are Padre Burgos and Unisan in the south, Plaridel to the southeast, Pagbilao in the southwest and Mauban in the northwest. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands, rolling hills and mountainous landscapes. The highest point of the municipality is located 427 meters above sea level, in the Quezon National Park.

Atimonan is connected via the Maharlika Highway to the Bicol region and 175 km from the capital region of Metro Manila.
