Atina Johnston

Atina Johnston ( born October 12, 1971 in Regina, Saskatchewan as Atina Ford ) is a Canadian curler.

Her international debut was in 1991 at the Johnston Junior Curling World Championships in Glasgow, where she won the gold medal. In 1997 she became world champion.

Johnston was part of the team, the 1997 Canadian Olympic Curling Trails won, and represented Canada at the XVIII. Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in curling as a replacement player. The team led by Sandra Skip Schmirler won the Olympic gold medal after a 7-5 victory in the final against Denmark Skip to Helena Blach Lavrsen.
