Atkins (company)

The WS Atkins PLC, mostly short Atkins, is a service company for engineering, design, project management and consulting. The company was founded in 1938 by Sir William Atkins. The company is based in Epsom. In fiscal year 2005/2006 with a turnover of 1.052 billion pounds and 13,651 employees, it is the largest consulting and engineering company in the UK.
