Atlacomulco is a municipality in the Mexican state of México. The seat of the municipality is Atlacomulco de Fabela. The community had in 2010 93.718 inhabitants, its surface area is 258.6 km ².

The name comes from the Nahuatl Atlacomulco - atlacomolli, fountains ' and co, location, location ' - and roughly means "place of wells ".

Geography
