Atlanersa

Atlanersa was a Nubian king who ruled around 640 BC.

He was the son of Taharqa and a [ ... ] salka (name not quite get ) and married to his sisters Yeturow and Khalese. The mother of his successor Senkamanisken and probably a concubine, however, was Malotaral.

Atlanersa is known of representations in the temples at Mount Barkal. From there comes also a granite altar with his name and comes from Dongola, the fragment of an obelisk with his name. He was buried in Nuri in grave Nu 20 because there was a sacrificial board with his name.
