Atlantique Stade Rochelais

Atlantique Stade Rochelais is a rugby union club based in the French city of La Rochelle in the Charente -Maritime. He plays in the second highest league Pro D2.

The club plays its home matches at the Stade Marcel Deflandre -. This is named after Marcel Deflandre, the club president at the time of the Second World War, which was active in the Resistance and was executed in January 1944 in Bordeaux by the Gestapo.

End of the 2009/10 season the club managed to climb from the Pro D2 in the highest league top 14, but there could keep only one season.
