ATLAS-I

ATLAS I is the largest wooden structure in the world. The 180-meter and 305 -meter-high ATLAS -1 was built in 1972-1980 in the vicinity of Albuquerque, New Mexico to conduct EMP testing on aircraft. EMP for testing was generated by means of a Marx generator 200 GW, and not to disturb the wave, the structure has metal-free wood.
