Atlético Venezuela

Atlético Venezuela is a Venezuelan football club based in Caracas. The club was founded in 2009 and plays its home games at the Estadio Nacional Brígido Iriarte from, which seats 8,000 spectators. Atlético Venezuela has never Venezuelan football champion and currently plays in La Liga, the top division in Venezuela.

History

Today Atlético Venezuela, was founded on 15 August 2008 as UNEFA CF in Maiquetia, a coastal city in northern Venezuela. The club was founded as an army club existed but not long and was dissolved again soon. 2009 was the start-up as Atlético Venezuela. From the Venezuelan Football Federation of the newly founded association was classified in the sub-prime División Segunda, you already won in the first season, the Torneo Clausura victory was decisive with División for promotion to the Primera. The 2010/11 season is the first Erstligasaison for the club, the first-time jump in the Primera División managed just two years after its inception.
