Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics

Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics ( ACP) is an international scientific journal whose articles appear in all open access, that are available free of charge via the Internet. It serves the publication of results from the atmospheric research. ACP publishes essays in the field of atmospheric modeling, field measurements and laboratory studies of gases and aerosols. Other topics include clouds and precipitation, isotopes, radiation, atmospheric dynamics and interactions between the atmosphere and the other compartments. All posts are subject to an interactive, community review ( peer review ).

Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics ( ACP) and Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics Discussions ( ACPD ) are issued by the Copernicus GmbH ( Copernicus Publications ) for the European Geosciences Union ( EGU). " Executive Editor " are: Ulrich Pöschl, Ken Carslaw, Thomas Koop, Rolf Sander and William Thomas Sturges.

The impact factor of the journal was in 2012 at 5,510. In statistics, the Science Citation Index, they finished in 3rd place out of 74 journals considered in the category " Meteorology & Atmospheric Sciences ".
