Atomic coffee machine

The Atomic Coffee Machine is a coffee percolator with portafilter. The organic design of the Atomic was designed by Giordano Robbiati in Milan in 1946, went into series production in 1947 and was distributed to 1986 worldwide in 20 different building types.

Comparable models

The principle of the coffee percolator had its largest circulation in the prewar period. Models with filter holder were in 1945 next to the Atomic in Italy or the Aracati in Germany, for example, in Austria, the models of Stella ( 1948-74 ), the company of Desider star. Other variations led Qalital under the direction of star brother Imre Simon in Hungary. In Britain in the 1950s and 1960s the company A & M.G Sassoon built a variant of the coffee percolator with portafilter ..

The Atomic as a collector's item

To 2007, the trade reached with historical Atomic automata a climax as good as new devices by up to four-digit U.S. dollar amounts changed hands.
