Importance

Ator the Invincible is commonly regarded as one of the worst ever commercially produced films. This assessment is based on several aspects. First, it is consistently clear that the film with very little financial outlay was produced. So one has clearly a recognizable and both represent the same cave home to the cavemen, Akronnos ' laboratory and ATORS abode. Instead of consuming home recorded movies archive recordings were inappropriate in some places awkwardly cut together ( for example, the aerial view of Hohenschwangau Castle, together with incalculable Bavarian flag on the highest tower). That only closely were limited resources available, it can be seen also in other details; such as is the dreaded snake cult of only a dozen riders, the high priest and his two assistants. The action results in parts no sense, which is also for a series of dialogues. Also significantly to the overall negative impression contribute little charismatic actor. Nevertheless Ator the Invincible is attested often a great entertainment value, because the extremely cheap, incompetent workmanship and the many senseless plot elements have an unintended comic effect. Just because this film is crafted, dramatic and acting completely failed, he has achieved a high level of awareness among cineastes. This Ator the Invincible belongs in the category of unintentionally funny B- movies.
