Geographical location

Atteln on the Paderborn Plateau in the southwest part of the Teutoburg Forest Nature Park / Eggegebirge west of the light Auer core city. It is located at the mouth of the sour in the Altenau and is the central place in the Valley of Altenau, the springing flows through the Paderborn plateau at Blankenrode and flows Borchen in the Alme.

History

Generally
