Atticus Ross

Atticus Ross ( born January 16, 1968 in England ) is a British composer, musician and producer. He co-wrote with Trent Reznor, the music for the film The Social Network, for which both the 2010 Academy Award received.

Career

Atticus Ross first appeared with Tim Simenon's Bomb the Bass mid-1990s in appearance. He worked at the time of the appearance of Unknown Territory and Clear as a synthesizer programmer. For Barry Adamson he programmed the synthesizer for The Negro Inside Me and Oedipus Schmoedipus. The album As Above, So Below (1998) he produced. Then with Adam Holden and Claudia Sarne, he founded his own band 12 Rounds. With this, he released the two albums Jitterjuice and My Big Hero

In 2000 he moved to the United States. Here he is listed as a programmer and producer for several albums of Nine Inch Nails.

In 2010, he co-wrote with Trent Reznor the soundtrack to the film The Social Network by David Fincher. For the score he and Reznor received, among others, the 2011 Oscar, a Golden Globe Award and a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award.

The latest project is called How to Destroy Angels. Ross is playing synth and bass.

The end of 2011 came the film facing ( Original title: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ) on the novel of the Millennium trilogy author Stieg Larsson in the cinemas. Director David Fincher is again and again he is working again along with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
