Atticus Shaffer

Atticus Shaffer ( born June 19, 1998, Santa Clarita, California to William Atticus Shaffer ) is an American actor and voice actor, known for his role as Brick Heck in the series The Middle.

Life and career

Atticus Shaffer was born in June 1998 in the medium-sized California city of Santa Clarita, the son of Debbie and Ron Shaffer. He gets on the set of The Middle of his mother's home schooling. He has Osteogenesis imperfecta type IV, a genetic disease which he has inherited from his mother, who has Type I.

He took on his first role in 2007 in the television series The Class in the form of a guest role as Jonah. 2008 and 2009 was followed by minor roles in the films Big Fat Important Movie and Opposite Day as well as in the series My Name Is Earl. Also in 2009 he starred in the role of Matty Newton in the horror thriller The Unborn. Since 2009 he takes over the lead role Brick Heck in the comedy series The Middle, the youngest child of Mike ( Neil Flynn ) and Frankie Heck ( Patricia Heaton ). For this role he was nominated for the Young Artist Awards 2011 along with Charlie McDermott and Eden Sher in the category of Outstanding Ensemble in a TV series. From 2010 to 2011, he worked as a voice actor Albert Glass in the animated series The Fish Club. In 2011 he took over small guest roles on the television series Tripp 's Rockband, ThunderCats and Shake It Up - Dancing is everything. End of September 2012 he was in Tim Burton's remake of the short film Frankenweenie in 1984 to hear as Edgar.
