ÁTVR or advertised Áfengis -og tóbaksverslun ríkisins is the " alcohol and tobacco sales of the state" in Iceland.

Only in the 48 Vínbúðin outlets in the country may beverages containing more than 2.25 % vol. Alcohol will be sold. Colloquially they are called Ríkið ( the state).
