Aubad

The Aubad is a 50,000 m² large artificial lake in the Danube floodplain between the right bank of the Danube and the Little Tulln, which is caused by material removal. The maximum water depth is about 6 meters, the average water depth of about 3-4 meters. It is used for bathing and has a vegetated island in the middle of a 30 -acre recreation area ( Aubad or lake ) on the banks of the Danube from Tulln an der Donau (Lower Austria ).

Bathing area

The lake is equipped with a 45 -meter water slide and a 18 m- wide water slide, there are also several playgrounds and an adventure play stream. A part of the shore consists of a sandy beach. Open the Aubad is open all year, which is collected only during the bathing season daytime admission. The site includes 15 ha of forest and 10 ha of lawns and offers several options for recreational activities such as swimming, soccer, volleyball, and barbecue areas. Water quality

The Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety ( AGES), the Tullner Aubad regularly, like any other bathing waters in Austria, for possible microbial contamination.
