Audi Type A

The Audi Type A is the first passenger car, the brought out the Audi Automobile Works Zwickau GmbH following its change of name by August Horch automobile Werke GmbH in 1910 and produced until 1912. The vehicle is then considered the oldest known Audi cars.

A total of 140 copies were produced, its market price was 8,500 Reichsmarks. In 1911 came out of the successor, the Audi Type B.

Specifications

The vehicle had installed a 4-cylinder 4-stroke gasoline engine, in-line with 2612 cc displacement front. He developed 16.2 kW (22 hp). The engine had a bore of 80 mm and a stroke of 130 mm.
