AudioID
The AudioID is an acoustic fingerprint, which allows a fast and accurate recognition of songs and other audio signals. To identify a compact data set (the AudioID ) generated from a piece of music at first, which is like a fingerprint characteristic of this piece. In order to recognize and then give a short excerpt of the song by the acoustic fingerprint is compared with those of the AudioID database.
The AudioID is the only audio - recognition technology part of the standard MPEG- seventh This allows the immediate link to a recognized audio file with metadata.
Developed by AudioID at Fraunhofer IIS and the Fraunhofer IDMT. Application
The AudioID is used in products from Magix, such as MP3 Maker, Digital DJ or mufin player.
