Audra Mae

Audra Mae (born 20 February 1984 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American singer- songwriter. The great-niece of Judy Garland gained in Germany notoriety by their composition of the title song of the second album by Lena Meyer- Landrut, as well as through collaboration with the Swedish DJ Avicii.

Career

Mae lives in Oklahoma City. Getting attention as a singer she received in 2009 for her cover of Bob Dylan songs Forever Young, which was included in the soundtrack of the television show Sons of Anarchy. A debut album was released in 2010 with The Happiest Lamb. Before Mae was already highly successful as a songwriter with a composition for Susan Boyle's first album have appeared (Who I Was Born to Be, 2009).

The member of The Upright Cabaret was involved in 2011 with Good News and A Good Day as a composer of two contributions for the German preselection for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2011 Our song for Germany. Both titles are also included in the second album of the previous year's winner Lena Meyer -Landrut Good News ( 2011).

In 2013, the debut album of the Swedish DJ Avicii True appeared. Here she sang the title three Long Road to Hell, Shame on Me and Addicted to You. Addicted to You could reach the charts by strong downloads in several countries. She also was active as author of several tracks on the album.
