Audrey Tautou

Audrey Justine Tautou ( born 9 August 1976 in Beaumont, France) [ od ˌ ʀɛ ʒys ˌ tin totu ] is a French actress. She became famous in 1999 with the beautiful Venus, the star she advanced in 2001 by the movie The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie. Her second big success was in 2004 Mathilde - A great love. In 2009, she played the lead in Coco Chanel - The beginning of a passion.

Life

Audrey Tautou was born as the daughter of a dentist. She grew up in Montlucon.

After her high school with honors Tautou attended the drama classes Cours Florent in Paris. After she starred in short films and French television series (Julie Lescaut ), she got a role in the film Venus Beauty Institute for which she was awarded the César. Then she got the starring role in Jean -Pierre Jeunet's The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain.

2002 played Tautou in love with a young insane woman who married a doctor like a stalker follows in obsessive love, though this has hardly noticed.

In May 2006 came The Da Vinci Code - The Da Vinci Code, the film adaptation of the book of the same name, in the cinemas. In it Audrey Tautou is seen at the side of Tom Hanks for the first time in a Hollywood production.
