Aue-Fallstein

Aue- Fallstein was a municipality in the district of Harz, in Saxony- Anhalt, which existed from 2003 to 2009. Covering an area of ​​118.41 km ² lived 5,095 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2008)

History

The municipality was created as a unified community on 11 September 2003 through the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Deersheim, Hesse, Osterode am Fallstein, Rohrsheim, Veltheim and Zilly and the City Dardesheim who became districts of the new community. The administrative community Aue- case stone, which was formed by the member municipalities have also ceased to exist. From 1 January 2005 to its dissolution on 31 December 2009 the church was a member of the community management community Osterwieck Fallstein and thus no more unified community. On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Aue- Fallstein, Berßel, Stage, Lüttgenrode, Rhodes, shows and Wülperode joined with the city Osterwieck together for new city Osterwieck. The districts of Aue- Fallstein were characterized districts of Easter Wieck.
