August Conrady
August Conrady ( born April 28, 1864 in Wiesbaden, Germany, † June 4, 1925 in Leipzig ) was a German sinologist and professor of East Asian Languages at the University of Leipzig.
Career
After his studies of classical and Indian philology Conrady doctorate in Würzburg. His habilitation in Leipzig ( 1891) was followed by a call to the local university, where he was an associate in 1896, 1920 Associate Professor.
