August Lemmer

August Lemmer (* 1862 in Deutz ) was a German artist. The date of his death is not known.

August Lemmer studied from 1888 to 1892 at the Art Academy in Karlsruhe and was subsequently reflected in the capital of Baden as a painter.

Lemmer made ​​his name as the author of impressionistic landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes. From the late 19th and early 20th century, numerous paintings by the artist are obtained, which mainly subjects from Carniola, Trieste and Venice, but also German city views, for example Munich show.
