Augustin Henninghaus

Augustin Henninghaus SVD ( born September 11, 1862 in Menden (Sauerland ), † 20 July 1939 Yanzhou, China ) was a German missionary and bishop.

Life

Background and education

After technical school with a visit to the school in his hometown and two years of private education, he entered on October 11, 1879 in the Divine Word Mission Order and was ordained a priest on May 30, 1885.

Missionary to China

Founder
