Augustin Matata Ponyo
Augustin Matata Ponyo ( born June 5, 1964) is a Congolese politician of the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy.
Life
Ponyo studied at the University of Kinshasa. From February 21 2010 to 18 April 2012, he was the successor of Atanase Matenda finance ministers of the Democratic Republic of Congo under President Joseph Kabila. Ponyo is the successor of Louis Alphonse Koyagialo Prime Minister of his country since 18 April 2012. In a plane crash on February 12, 2012, he was injured.
