Augustine Simo

Augustine Simo ( born August 18, 1978 in Bangangté ) is a Cameroonian footballer who plays at Urania Geneva in the third highest Swiss league.

Career

Association

Simo began his footballing career in his native Cameroon. There he played for PWD Bamenda and Aigle Nkongsamba before he was lured because of his talent to Europe. In 1995, he was the Italian club Torino Calcio, Torino later taken under contract. When the cops he came to his pro debut in professional football. National

Simo was national team of Cameroon. Overall, he came to 23 senior team matches. He was nominated for his first tournament in 1996. At the age of 17 was the midfielder in the squad for the African Cup in 1995. Those days traveled the selection of coaches Jules Frederic Nyongha with a young team. Younger than Simo were Pierre Wome and Joseph Marie Tchango. His debut Africa Cup Simo on January 13, 1996 against South Africa. In the 54th minute, the former talent for Tchango came on. Previously, Simo has already played in the youth teams of Cameroon. In 1995 he took part with the U- 20 at the Junior World Cup, where his team was eliminated in the quarterfinals to eventual winners Argentina. During the tournament, he was used in all four possible games.
