Aukrug (Amt)

The Office Aukrug was an office in Rendsburg -Eckernförde district in Schleswig -Holstein. Covering an area of 115 km ² last lived approximately 6000 inhabitants in the four municipalities:

History

After the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein by Prussia in 1889, the municipalities of Innien ( the church today Aukrug and Meezen ) in the district of Rendsburg and Wittorf (municipalities Arpsdorf, Ehndorf, Padenstedt, Wasbek and Wittorf ) were formed in a circle Kiel. After the dissolution of the circle Bordesholm, Kiel was named as the circle now, the municipalities within the jurisdiction without Wittorf Wittorf 1932 came as an official district Wasbek in the district of Rendsburg. 1948, the areas in the districts to today's offices. The Office Wasbek remained unchanged from the office district. The Office Innien gave Meezen from to the Office Hohenwestedt country.

December 31, 1969 included the communities Bargfeld, Böken, Bünzen, Homfeld and Innien by the Office Innien been formed, together temporarily for office free community Aukrug. On April 1, 1970, the Office Aukrug was formed from the community Aukrug and the communities of the former Office Wasbek.

From 1 January 2007, the administrative business of the office were performed under an administrative community of the municipality Hohenwestedt.

The community Wasbek left 15 June 2008 the county and has since been managed by the city of Neumünster.

On 1 January 2012, the municipalities of the Office Aukrug with the communities of offices Hanerau -Hademarschen and Hohenwestedt country and the community Hohenwestedt merged to the Official Mittelholstein.
