Aumont (Jura)

Aumont is a commune in the Jura department in Franche- Comté region. It belongs to the district of Lons -le- Saunier, the Canton Poligny and community association Communauté de communes du comté de Grimont.

The neighboring municipalities are Vaudrey and La Ferté to the north, Mathenay in the northeast, Abergement -le- Grand in the East, Montholier in the south, southwest and Oussières Neuvilley in the west.

The locals call themselves Aumoniers.
